Transfer Students

The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) requires all licensed driving schools to allow students to transfer to another school at any point during their Driver Education course. Schools are also required to provide a refund for any portion of the course that has not yet been completed.

This means that if you have already started or completed the classroom portion at another driving school — such as Compass Driving School, Gregg's Driving School, Elite Driving School, or any other MVA-licensed school — you are eligible to transfer and complete your Driver Education program with One Above Driving Academy.

If you would like to transfer to One Above Driving Academy, simply purchase this appropriate package to continue your training with us.

Schools are also required to fully refund a student for any untaken portion of the course!

Important:
Before we can enroll you as a transfer student, you must request all necessary documentation from the school where you originally began your course. This documentation is required by the MVA. Unfortunately, we cannot accept transfer students without proper records confirming completed and/or outstanding portions of the program.
